The invention relates to a method for underfilling a switch by dipping stuffing tools in gravel of a track.
The underfilling of a switch is difficult in that it is characterized by the irregular track and frequent ancillary equipment, such as a rail. Wing rails, road handlebars, signal sensors u. Like., The immersion of the stuffing tools and the engagement of track lifting devices is often limited. This requires a concentrated observation of the stuffing zone from the operator and a great deal of experience in estimating an applicability of said working equipment.
By AT 391 903 it is already known to scan a switch immediately before the section of the Unterstopfung by non-contact sensors. The object of the present invention is now to provide a method of the type mentioned, with which an efficient Unterstopfung a Weiche in connection with a work easier for the operator is possible.
This object is achieved by a method of the generic type by the features stated in the characterizing part of the main claim.
With such restricted to the current work area representation of the threshold compartment, the operator can quickly detect existing stuffing zones and estimate whether stuffing tools can be used. Above all, it can also be decided quickly whether the stuffing tools can be dipped into the ballast at least to a reduced extent without damaging the switch. The same rapid assessment option is of course also given for the lifting devices for position correction of the switch.
Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and the drawing description.
In the following the invention will be described with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. 1 shows a side view of a point tamping machine, and FIGS. 2 to 5 each show images of a point section appearing on a monitor. A point tamping machine 1 shown in FIG. 1 has tamping units 2 which, just like track lifting devices 3, are specially designed for the purpose of clogging a point 4. Above all, this training must take account of the fact that there are many stuffing and lifting zones in the switch 4, which are only restricted or not accessible at all.
With regard to a working direction 5 directly behind the tamping tools 8 having tamping units 2, a work cabin 6 is provided in which in addition to the various control devices and a monitor 7 for observation by an operator is located. A system of photo cameras 10 is arranged on a machine section 9 of the point tamping machine 1 that is at the front in relation to the working direction 5.
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, a switch point section 12 defined by two adjacent sleepers 11 is photographed in the front machine section 9 for producing a reference photograph 13 during a stuffing operation (that is, at standstill of the machine 1) and saved.
This stored reference photograph 13 is automatically provided on the monitor 7 positioned in the work booth 6 for observation by the operator as soon as the darning tools 8 are located above the switch section 12 represented by this reference photograph 13.
The reference photograph 13 is taken as a plan view of the switch section 12 with reference to a reference line 14 defined as a track center of the track traveled by the point tamping machine 1 and a reference section a defined by a track gauge.
The operator is now able to optimally assess the already mentioned limited situation of possible stuffing zones 15 for the use of stuffing tools 8.
As shown as an advantageous supplementary aid in Fig. 4, alternatively, a relative to the switch section 12 known position of the stuffing tools 8 the reference photograph 13 are automatically superimposed so. As a result, the position of the stuffing tools 8 relative to the track or rails 16 can be seen exactly for the operator.
The tamping situation illustrated in FIG. 4 would unmistakably show that the stuffing tools 8 respectively positioned to the right of the rail 16 of a main track can not be used, since there is a clearly visible overlap with the adjacent rail 16. An existing in this switch section 12 switch box 17 excludes any even limited use of stuffing tools 8.
In an alternative embodiment, the stuffing tools 8 can also be simplified in the form of a preferably rectangular outline (see Fig. 3) and shown in scale to the reference portion a, d. H. superimposed on the photo.
As shown in FIG. 5, grid lines 18 can also be superimposed on the reference photograph 13 as an orientation aid for the operator. These grid lines 18 could, for example, indicate the central position of the stuffing tools 8.
